MANATEE COUNTY, FL (May 4, 2023) – Suncoast Neighbors are coming together!
The Neighborhood Services Divisions from the City of Sarasota, Manatee County and Sarasota County will welcome community leaders to the Manasota Neighborhood Summit on Friday, May 12, 2023. The half-day free program will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34th Street in Sarasota.
The summit is being convened in hopes of bringing together formal, informal, and aspiring neighborhood leaders. Past meetings have included Homeowner Association (HOA) board members, community managers, city officials, pastors, social service providers and residents. This year, the in-person meetings will focus on topics that impact the leadership, safety, environment and enjoyment of our neighborhoods—specifically those ensuring community resilience, leveraging neighborhood grants and exploring innovative water projects.
