Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources to host Summer Camp hiring fairs this May

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (May 14, 2018) – Calling all teens in search of a summer job: Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources is hiring 72 positions for its Summer Camp programs and pools. Parks is hosting hiring fairs each Friday of the month to recruit applicants. 

Of the 72 positions, nearly 40 are camp counselors, senior camp counselors and camp site supervisors. Another 33 jobs will work in aquatics as splash park guards, seasonal pool guards, senior lifeguards and swim instructors. 

The remaining hiring fair Fridays will be held at G.T. Bray Recreation Center at  5502 33rd Ave Dr W, Bradenton, on these dates and times:
  • May 18, 7:30 a.m. to noon 
  • May 25, 2 - 6 p.m. 
Parks can hire on the spot, so applicants should bring to the hiring fairs a resume and identification such as a driver’s license.
