Independence Day Office Closures, Schedule Changes

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (June 25, 2018) – Manatee County Government offices will be closed Wednesday, July 4 to observe Independence Day.

Garbage & Recycling Collection Schedule Changes
All trash, recycling and yard waste collections for the week will be postponed one day from Wednesday through Saturday for residents in unincorporated Manatee.

Most Parks, Preserves & Beaches Open
Manatee County parks and beaches will be open to the public. Manatee County-owned golf courses will be open. G.T. Bray Recreation Center and G.T. Bray Skate Park will be closed.

Manatee County’s publicly-owned natural preserves will remain open.

Public Libraries Closed Wednesday
Manatee County’s public libraries will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 and will reopen Thursday, July 5.

No Bus Services, Except Trolley & Beach Express
Only the Trolley and Beach Express service will operate on July 4. Fixed route, para-transit service and Longboat Key Shuttle service will resume July 5.
