MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Nov. 26, 2018) –  The Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources Department will host an Open House on Monday, Dec. 3, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the John Marble Park gymnasium to preview the County’s projected “master plan” for John Marble Park.

Since approval of the Half-Cent Sales Tax, several projects are being planned to replace the existing gymnasium, expand the pool deck, replace the existing tennis courts, and replace the existing parking lot, as well as several other facility upgrades.

"This is a chance for the public to influence the final design," said Parks' Recreation Manager Matt Porter. "Comments during this Open House will help us fine tune plans and prioritize improvements."

John Marble Park is located at 3675 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton, FL 34203. If you cannot make the meeting, please complete a survey at http://bit.ly/jhmpmcg and tell us your thoughts about improvements at John Marble Park. For more information on the Open House, contact Matt Porter at [email protected] or (941) 742-5923, ext. 6005.
