MANATEE COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES REDUCES ADOPTION FEES FOR “ALL TREATS, NO TRICKS” PROMOTION FROM OCTOBER 11 – 31
Palmetto, FL –October 9, 2019 – It’s “ALL TREATS, NO TRICKS” at Manatee County Animal Services (MCAS) from October 11 – 31. This isn’t a trick -- Adoption fees will be reduced to $10 for ALL dogs and cats! With hundreds of pets to choose from, treat your family to a new best friend…
All fee-reduced adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and rabies certificate. Manatee County residents are required to license their new pet for an additional $20.
MCAS is Manatee County’s only open-admission shelter facility, taking in an average of 15 animals per day in 2018. The mission of MCAS is to maintain public health and safety through the enforcement of laws and ordinances related to animals, to promote responsible pet ownership, promote adoptions, and reduce pet overpopulation. In August, MCAS had a 97% save rate.
The MCAS Palmetto Adoption Center and Shelter, located at 305 25th Street West in Palmetto, is open Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. Open Sunday from 1 – 4 p.m. Manatee County Cat Town, located at 216 6th Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34208, is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Animal Services can be reached at 941-742-5933.
