The Manatee County Children’s Services Advisory Board and Family Safety Alliance are hosting two training presentations--Protective Factors and True Colors--for non-profit agencies and educators who provide services for children.

Facilitated by Chris Lolley, Executive Director of Prevent Child Abuse Florida, the trainings will be held in four different locations during the month of April which has been designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month. The trainings and the Eventbrite registration links are as follows. 

Protective Factors Trainings: Provides an overview of conditions or attributes in individuals, families and communities that promote the health and well being of children and families, thereby reducing the chances of child abuse and neglect.
